Use #4 for a Pocket Knife: Opening Tied Garbage Bag

A couple garbage bags not in the trash bin

While I did not have my pocket knife on me at the time, opening a tied garbage bag would have been an excellent use for my trusty knife.  I made due with my bare hands, simply pulling the bag apart, but I did think of how it would have been slightly easier with a sharp blade.

While this use falls under the “opening stuff” use I published previously, I still thought it worthy for it’s own post mostly due to the fact that I did not actually have my knife with me.

Which brings up an important point, you have to have your knife on you in order to make use of it.  I try to keep my knife near me when it is not on me so that when I suit up to go outside or stay nearby, I always will be reminded to pick it up.
